On Friday morning, August 9th, comrades performed an intervention of solidarity to the Parartima and Maragopouleio squats and the Self-managed Hangout of TEI in Patras that were stormed by state forces in the early hours of August 5th.
During the intervention, banners were placed at the entrance to the archaeological site of Acropolis, disrupting the fake image of a ‘respectable’ city of Athens and attracting the attention of visitors.
We chose this location knowing that our presence at a ‘prominent setting’ (i.e. one of the city’s tourist attractions) would be a thorn that hurts the State.
Nothing will remain unanswered…
